We have installed 1,500 solar panels on the roof of our 4,500 m2 warehouse, and together they produce 418,000 kWh of solar power. Enough for NVO Transport and for the entire industrial estate on the A7 where we are located.

The solar panels provide power for the temperature-controlled storage and transshipment rooms in the building itself, but also for the reefers that are parked fully loaded on the site.

NVO Transport is accelerating its transition to fossil-free transport. We are also experimenting with alternative fuels. The aim for the very short term is to provide an environmentally friendly ‘door-to-door’ alternative to multimodal transport.
